Samsung is preparing to launch its affordable flagship Galaxy S24 FE. The device was last spotted on the US FCC certification list. Important details about its specifications and launch date have emerged. It also leaked its first real image under the FCC.
What does the Galaxy S24 FE promise?
According to the FCC list, Samsung Galaxy S24 FE will be launched for the US market with the model number SM-S72U. The certification confirms support for cellular technologies such as 5G, LTE, GSM, as well as wireless connectivity standards such as WiFi 6E, Bluetooth and NFC.
It was also seen that the device will offer wireless charging with a maximum output of 9W and reverse wireless charging for charging other devices. The images shared in the FCC report also revealed the design. It is possible to say that the Galaxy S24 FE will feature a flat screen with rounded corners.
162 mm x 77.3 mm in size, the thickness of the smartphone is still uncertain. Previous leaks showed that it will come with a 120Hz AMOLED display and triple rear cameras, including a telephoto lens.
The S24 FE is rumored to be powered by the Samsung Exynos 2400 chipset and 8GB of RAM. It is expected to have an IP68 rating for dust and water resistance. The phone, which is expected to run on Android 14-based One UI 6.1.1 operating system, will have an ISOCELL HP3 50 megapixel sensor.
